Justin Natoli (he/she/they)
founder, psychedelic specialist, ceremony leader, educator & author
My calling is to help you celebrate and share your most unique gifts.
Outside of the Queer Medicine Community, I’m a psychotherapist, Hakomi practitioner, and ketamine-assisted psychedelic therapist in Los Angeles, CA (Tongva land). In my therapy practice, I specialize in Depth and somatic psychotherapies, trauma, addiction, psychedelic preparation and integration, personal growth, and working within kink, poly, and LGBTQIA+ communities.
Outside of clinical work, my healing mission is to share Queer, sex-positive medicine with the world. I serve with the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines on their Women, Gender Diversity, and Sexual Minorities working group. I’m also an international speaker and have published several articles on Queer issues in psychedelics. I’m honored to be a contributing author for Chacruna’s latest book, Queering Psychedelics.
Here at the Queer Medicine Community, I facilitate workshops and retreats, lead spiritual ceremonies, teach courses and trainings, host groups and events, and offer coaching and psychedelic integration services to individual clients.
I have a Bachelors of Science in psychology and communications from Northwestern University, a Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law, and a Masters in counseling psychology with an emphasis in Depth psychology from the Pacifica Graduate Institute.
I’ve also devoted myself to education and training as a psychedelic specialist. In addition to completing the MAPS MDMA-assisted therapy training and receiving a certificate in psychedelic-assisted therapy and research from the California Institute of Integral Studies, I’m also working towards a Ph.D. in Psychedelic Studies from Ubiquity University and the AWE Foundation. My fieldwork takes me all over the world to learn indigenous healing practices from native communities. I’m also trained in the Hakomi method and Internal Family Systems therapy, which are two of the most widely-incorporated therapeutic modalities in psychedelic-assisted therapy.
